MUJEEB’S STORY

I met Kiran when I was aching from inside, I had started a social enterprise in leadership

development. I was more of field consultant rather than a facilitator or trainer. I am gifted

with ability for synthesizing ideas. Lo behold, a leadership development organization

with activities on ground was born, but there was a distinct emptiness, for some of

you who have struggled with implementing ideas without fully understanding how will

know the pain I would feel on most days. I was a man with ideas but no language to

communicate with the rest of the world.

When I saw the communication inviting people into the Tao of Facilitation, I was sold

lock stock and barrel; I would discover the language that I was pining for. I spoke to

Kiran beseechingly and intensely almost as if he may not think I was suitable to attend

a ToF. Those days for some reason I also remember being overly humble, almost

to the point of not wanting to stand out or be noticed. I picked it out of a belief that if

people even got a whiff of my gifts and talents they might envy and refuse to support

me. Anyway, I found myself at the ToF venue in the morning, in the middle of perfect

strangers, both excited about what may unfold and anxious if I would make the most of

this opportunity.

The next five days I was bathed in understanding; of myself, of my work, the language

I now use to talk about me work, great people most of who are now my dear friends

and companions in my life journey. My work itself has blossomed and now feels

complete, not to mean that everything is solved and all questions are answered but

the dimensions of learning and doing which were integral to Bhumi are now equally

enabled.

I am connected with some of the finest souls across India through Chittasangha. Some

of our programs such as youth leadership initiative – DnE to help groom college

students as leaders while simultaneously helping children from government schools and

Freedom under Construction, an initiative to awaken and unite Indians in celebration of

the idea called India are now going national. My company keeps me mindful of how I

live my life, conscious living and celebrating oneself now flow naturally at all times and

under most circumstances.
